Today we released Finale version version 26.2, a free-of-charge update for all owners of Finale version 26. This update ensures that Finale v26 is compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina, and also includes further improvements for both Mac and Windows users.
Earlier this year we wrote about Finale’s role in Weird Al Yankovic’s Strings Attached Tour. When I learned that a father-and-son team would trade off conducting many of the shows, I was intrigued.
Last year around this time we released Finale v26. Now seems like a good time to review the year and talk a little about where Finale is headed.
While our initial testing suggested that Finale v26.1 and Catalina worked pretty well together, four issues prevented us from calling it compatible.
