As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the most frequently asked percussion question I hear from users of Finale 2010 concerns the playback speed of snare rolls.
When Beverly Sills said “There are no shortcuts to anyplace worth going,” I’m pretty sure she wasn’t thinking about software.
Finale has always been capable of doing great things with percussion, but before Finale 2010 it was a bit involved to assign, for example, multiple snare sounds (LH snare, RH snare, buzz rolls, side sticks, etc) to the same note position on the staff.
Perhaps because there are lots of questions in life I can’t answer, I love being asked those that I can.
