MakeMusic respects the intellectual property of others and expects everyone who posts music on the Finale Showcase to also respect the copyright owners' rights. As such we will make every effort to ensure that posts which are in violation of United States and International (where applicable) copyright law are removed from the Finale Showcase after being investigated. To help us achieve this goal, we are requesting the assistance of you, our users.

If you locate a post that you suspect may infringe upon a copyrighted composition, please report it by e-mailing MakeMusic at reportinfringement@makemusic.com. All such reports will be held as confidential.

Posts will not be removed out of hand. Reported posts will only be removed if there is sufficient reason to believe that copyright has been infringed upon. In instances where no clear answer can be determined, the benefit of the doubt will be given to Showcase users unless new information is provided.
