Finale National Composition Contest

MakeMusic, the American Composers Forum, and Grammy-winning ensemble eighth blackbird, announce the Finale® National Composition Contest. Composers are invited to submit their best chamber piece to contend for a cash prize, and the chance to write a piece for eighth blackbird to be workshopped, performed, and recorded in the ensemble’s Chicago studio!

Entries must be postmarked by September 15, 2010.
