Audio Units
Audio Units (AU) is an interface for integrating software audio synthesizer plug-ins such as Garritan instrument sounds. PrintMusic supports all AU instrument plug-ins. Audio Units and similar technologies use Digital Signal Processing to simulate traditional recording studio hardware with software. Thousands of plug-ins exist, both commercial and freeware. (PrintMusic does not include any AU plug-ins. They must be purchased separately).
You can assign Audio Unit plug-ins to PrintMusic channels using the Audio Units Instruments dialog box.
