If a Finale-family file from an earlier version is opened in Finale NotePad 2012 that includes notes hidden due to optimization, and the measure layout is changed so that those hidden notes are moved across systems, or stacks with staves including hidden notes are copied across systems, the staves containing those notes will display automatically for the modified/target systems. (Optimization was possible in many Finale-family notation products prior to 2011.)
