Erasing
- Click the Selection tool and select a region. See Selecting music for some region-selecting shortcuts.
- Press the BACKSPACE key or select Edit > Clear Entries and Smart Shapes. NotePad erases all music, leaving empty measures behind. (If you want to remove the measures too, press the DELETE key instead.)
- Click the Simple Entry tool . The Simple Entry palette appears.
- Click the Eraser then click above or below the note. The note disappears. If you click on a notehead that’s part of a chord, only that note disappears. If you click a rest, it disappears.
