The File menu is the first of Finale’s unchanging menus.
What it does
As in many computer programs, Finale’s File menu contains various commands for opening, closing, saving, and printing documents. The File menu also contains commands for importing and exporting libraries (files containing various symbols, markings, and other musical elements that are stored separately and can be “loaded into” any document). Finally, the File menu contains the Quit command used to exit the program.
