Counting measures

If you are a Finale copyist, you might choose to bill clients by the frame. A frame is one measure of one staff. Finale's File Statistics dialog box tells you how many frames are in your piece; it also tells you how many frames actually have notes in them, so the client doesn't get billed for empty measures. It also tells you how many Pages, Staff Systems, and Measures are in your piece.

To count measures, frames, systems, or pages

1. From the File menu, choose File Info. The File Info dialog box appears.
